Redeo Rail Solutions

About Redeo Rail

Restoring the link between the world's rail manufacturers and South Africa's track.

Redeo — to bring back, to restore, to return. We exist to close the gap between what global manufacturers build and what South African rail operators actually need.

An infrastructure opportunity, unlocked at the components level.

South Africa’s rail sector is one of the continent’s largest and most strategically vital — yet its components supply chain has been fragmented: long lead times, thin local technical support, and a disconnect between global manufacturing and South African application. That gap costs time, money and track integrity.

Redeo Rail was built to be the bridge — between world-class manufacturing and South African rail realities, between global supply chains and local logistics, between technical precision and practical, human service. We bring the world of rail directly to South Africa, and put South Africa in a position to compete and collaborate on the global rail stage.

Matching global standards to local specification.

Thousands of kilometres of track, operated by Transnet Freight Rail and PRASA, sit inside an expanding national mandate for rail investment. Demand for reliable, technically appropriate components has never been higher — and generic imports don’t meet it.

We understand South African track standards, the Transnet Freight Rail network, the PRASA commuter environment and the mining rail sector. We work with our supply partners so every component we distribute is right for local application — down to gauge, rail weight, environmental exposure and maintenance workflow.
